A 25-year-old woman is in serious condition after crashing and rolling her UTV in the coastal city of Villa Gesell. Local media sources reported to the Noticias Argentinas news agency that the victim, identified as Florencia Rastelli Mella, is an influencer and entrepreneur from La Plata. She was driving the vehicle in the area of Camping Pucará. In the accident, whose motives are under investigation, the driver allegedly lost control, was ejected from the vehicle, and ended up underneath it. Florencia was transferred unconscious to the Pueyrredón clinic in Mar del Plata due to polytrauma and a head injury with loss of consciousness. The patient presented with 'fractures of the spinous processes of C4, C6 and C7, as well as lesions in the lamina and articular facet of C5,' while also suffering from 'a lung contusion and left pneumothorax, along with a spinal injury at D12 due to compression and narrowing of the spinal canal,' according to the sources consulted. The injured woman was traveling with a 27-year-old friend who suffered minor injuries.
